American Airlines values your opinion by giving you the opportunity to express your preference for what will be featured as our monthly Main Screen movie selections. Your preferences will help us select four (4) main screen movie titles which we will play on our Domestic flights each month. Two of the four selected will then be featured on our International flights the following month (titles chosen for play in the International market are based on availability of the necessary foreign language audio tracks).

Selection of movies must be done at least 60 days prior to a movie playing on board. The voting will be open for seven (7) days each month. At the end of the voting period, AA's Inflight Entertainment Program Manager will work with American's media vendor (Inflight Productions) to incorporate the results into the selection process for main screen movies.

We will make every effort to include all acceptable movies available for a particular month on the voting website based on the information available to us at the time of the voting. However, due to circumstances beyond our control there may be instances where a popular movie may end up not being available or acceptable for use in flight. Additionally there may be circumstances where a popular theatrical movie may become available for use after the voting has already begun.

To select In-flight Entertainment that is appropriate to exhibit in a public environment and appeal to a wide audience. Box office movies are preferred, but overall standards and criterion are not compromised.

R, PG-13 and PG rated movies will be booked but only when appropriately edited for general audiences.

If the selected titles cannot be edited, then the movie will not be selected.
